My wife and I bought white items to later customize with pink or blue markers/paint/stickers/ribbons etc depending on the sex of the new baby. Aside from our accessories slightly masking the original color of the bracelets- their glow remained. The glow bracelets came in great condition, there were no problems activating them, and there were enough for everyone plus extras.
